XVI century wine cellar on the Valpolicella Wine Road available for hire for wine tasting and dinner parties
The wines produced in the cellars of the Verona province are numerous and well known; great favourites are Soave, Bardolino, Valpolicella, Recioto and Amarone. The latter is one of the best-known Italian wines; it has body, it is dry and strong and is the ideal drink for a cold winter evening by the fire.
At Valverde the XVI century cellar bears witness to a past wine producing traditions, with its huge oak barrels – real period pieces – lined up against the wall.
